For the first time Salisbury University listed a notice about two suspended fraternities on its campus website in late January.
In addition, a campus-wide email was issued around the extended suspension of Greek social fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon for hazing.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the action follows criticism by elected officials and others after details became public about alleged hazing and illegal alcohol use at some of the University’s Greek organizations.
DOVER, Del. (AP) - Officials at Delaware State University say an investigation into alleged hazing involving the school's marching band has found some instances of minor hazing.
Officials said Tuesday that the hazing activities did not result in any injuries to any members of the band, which includes the marching band, pep bands, jazz ensembles, concert band, and flag and dance teams.

The suspension announced Thursday involves all band performances, including those of the DSU Approaching Storm marching band, the DSU Jazz Ensembles, the concert band and pep bands. A spokesman said roughly 150 students participate in the bands.
TOWSON, Md. (AP) - Towson University officials say they've suspended the school's national championship-winning cheerleading team for the academic year for violating the school's hazing policies.
Deb Moriarty, vice president for student affairs, says the school launched an investigation earlier this month after receiving an anonymous tip. Moriarty declined to give details about the allegations.
