Gingrich Makes Campaign Stops on Delmarva

 

      

  

     Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is scheduled to speak at Salisbury University this afternoon from 3-4 at Holloway Hall.

    The former House Speaker ‘s speech is sponsored by the Salisbury University College Republicans and is limited to the campus community with attendees required to have a school ID.

    This morning Gingrich was scheduled to stop off at the Maryland State House in Annapolis with a walk down mainstreet.

   There are 37 delegates at stake in next week’s primary.

   Yesterday, Gingrich made the first stop by any of the Republican presidential campaigns in Delaware.

   The Republican Presidential hopeful…told reporters there…that front-runner Mitt Romney could win enough delegatesd to secure the nomination by June.

    But, he added, if not there was a realistic chance that he could emerge from the convention as the party’s nominee.

    The Georgian stopped off for a reception of state Republican party leaders in Wilmington as well as meeting with GOP committees in New Castle County.

    There are 17 delegates at stake in Delaware’s winner take all primary on April 24th.
